Konjac Facial Cleansing Sponge

Konjac facial sponges give you a gentle way to cleanse and exfoliate your face without plastic beads or abrasive materials. These sponges are made out of the Konjac plant, a Japanese root vegetable popular in Asia. Soften the Konjac sponge with water and use your favorite cleanser or by itself. It's great for all skin types, especially sensitive, easily irritated, or dry skin.

Why Konjac sponge?

Konjac sponges retain water really well and form a "water film" on its surface, which acts as a barrier between the sponge and your skin. This allows the sponge to gently remove dead skin cells and excess sebum, which causes clogged pores and oily skin. This “water film” is also slightly alkaline, which means it neutralizes and decomposes slightly acidic dirt and pores while washing away fine hair. You can achieve a thoroughly refreshing wash with and without the use of soap. The result is healthier, naturally radiant and glowing skin.

How to use:

1. Do not use dry sponge on skin
2. Soak the sponge in warm water and gently squeeze until the sponge becomes soft
3. Apply your favorite cleanser or soap and gently wash your face with the sponge. The sponge can also be used without soap. 
4. Rinse your face thoroughly
5. Replace after 3 months or when the sponge starts to break apart

Care & storage:

1. After each use, thoroughly rinse the sponge to remove all dirt and soap. 
2. Softly squeeze the sponge to remove excess water; do not wring sponge
3. Hang the sponge and let it air dry until next use 
4. Do not leave the sponge soaking in water
